The Wounded Healers

We are the misfits, the outsiders, the strange ones. The ones that when spoken of at family gatherings receive cocked-heads and shoulder shrugs wondering what happened to us.

We are the survivors, the fighters, the ones who fiercely choose our
truth and forge ahead through trials and tribulations to achieve and master that which calls us. We bravely strike onto the new paths that appear, even though the way they lead may be unclear. We follow along full of faith, knowing if we follow, we will finish the race. Not only finish, but becoming first by being true to ourselves, and sharing the very essence of who we are, with those we encounter along the way. What more success could be in life than that;  to share the wisdom and knowledge that we have gained throughout time, to those who hunger for these things. We strive through experience after experience throughout time, gaining knowledge and wisdom to carry us through our next adventure.
